Built to complete a QR Belt (10 TB-05b) equipped Rescue PFD or Rescue Vest. This tubular webbing enables an entrapped person to assist a rescuer in their own extrication. Mounted on the chest area of the PFD, the carabiner can be reached with either hand and remains exposed in the event of a lower body pin. Once the rescuer has a line secured to the carabiner of the entrapped person’s Extrication Line, the rescuer has a line attached to the back of the victim’s PFD, which dramatically increases the options of how best to carry out the balance of the rescue.

QR Belt
This high performance rescue belt is built for lifejackets or PFDs that do not have a quick-release chest harness, or require an upgrade. Sturdy and reliable, this belt is fully adjustable and has a 1200 lb. rating. It comes with an easy-to-locate red bobble on the cam buckle when a fast jettison is required. Two stainless steel webbing sliders work to ensure the belt functions the way you need it to. The front slider operates as a friction plate ensuring the belt stays on under pressure until the cam is manually released. The slider at the back acts with a 2" acetyl square ring to ensure the D-ring from a Pig tail or Extrication Line remains centred on your back regardless of your size. In conjunction with a Pig Tail or Extrication Line the QR belt enables a strong swimmer or tagged rescue with the safety of releasing yourself or the swimmer if required.

DFO Rescue Belt
This belt is built as an INITIAL RESPONSE RESCUE SYSTEM for personnel working on and around moving water. It addresses the critical need for speed, effectiveness and versatility. It gives you immediate access to features that allow you to maintain a "low to high risk approach" whether you are deploying the throw bag to a swimmer, self-rescuing or unpinning a boat. As conditions of the rescue change, built-in features enable you to carry out more sophisticated procedures such as Live Bait and Strong Swimmer techniques. If the situation demands specialized gear such as prussiks, carabiners and pulleys, they are readily accessible in the accessory pocket. The result is an extremely versatile system that incorporates basic functions of water rescue, as well as the latest developments in swift water rescue procedures.
