Below you will find a list of our standard options, but keep in mind options are really only limited to your imagination. We have built child cockpits with no-see-um-nets, dog hatches with windows, sail and fishing rigging, camera mounts and a wide variety of other specialty items.
| Tandem Two-Piece
A two or three piece Spray Deck allows you to remove a portion of deck on warm days for lounging, fishing and general freedom of movement. They keep your gear out of sight and protected from direct sun light while keeping you cooler. We position the joints over thwarts for additional stability. Any section can be unlaced from one side and by turning the canoe on its side creates quick emergency shelter.

| Additional Cockpit

| Light Weight Fabric |
40SP-01p |
50% lighter and 20% less volume, great for races like the Yukon Quest or the weight conscious solo paddler. We use High Tenacity, Military Spec 420 Pack Cloth sealed with a one-ounce urethane coating that will not peel or crack. It is available in red or black, and due cost a 15% surcharge on the deck only is applied. (not applied to additional options) |

Reversible Bow Cockpit
-
2 way |
40SP-24 |
This option lets you paddle your boat tandem or solo. To do this we install a two-way cockpit at the bow seat. This allows you to turn yourself around in the bow seat and use it as your stern seat. You may want to install a zippered cockpit in the stern to eliminate water pooling in the unused cockpit. (See Below) |
|
| Cockpit Cover – Zippered
A Zippered Cockpit Cover keeps the water from pooling into the unused cockpit(s) when solo paddling your tandem boat. Some customers choose to cover both cockpits during transporting and storage. |

|
| Shoulder Strap – each
A Shoulder strap keeps the cockpit skirting in a stable location around your chest and eliminates the chance of water pooling around the skirt. Often used by white water play-boaters for running long stretches of rapids, surfing and playing in holes. |
