The activation point mounts on the chest area to enable an entrapped person to assist a rescuer in their own extrication. This safe low profile design will release automatically from any direction under specific load conditions. It can be reached with either hand and remains accessible during a lower body pin. The keyhole carabiner will not snag while engaging or disengaging, thereby reducing risk and time during the rescue.
