The Modular Deck System is designed to give you unlimited flexibility in on-deck gear storage. It is generally placed on your front deck within easy reach of the paddler. The MDS can be used as a base to attach three NW cargo bags or our Large Expedition Deck Bag. The base can also be used on its own to accommodate gear using a combination of straps and D-rings. This combination allows you to organize hard-to-stow gear giving you more versatility and security than ever before.

INSTALLATION
The base is secured to your deck simply by sliding it under the existing deck lines then placing the nylon webbing and buckles on top of the deck lines. See diagram. The base is narrower at the bow end to fit the taper of your deck.
Attaching the Cargo Bags
Place the mesh bag in the center of the base and attach it using the buckles provided. The two larger bags are attached on each side of the mesh bag by threading the buckles on the base through the loops attached to the side of the bags.
Attaching the Large Expedition Deck Bag
Center the Exp. Bag on the Modular Deck System base. Now, take the webbing and buckle attached to the bag and thread it though the one inch D-rings attached to the base. Secure it by using at least two on each side of the bag. This leaves the webbing and buckles that are attached to the base attached to themselves underneath the Expedition Deck Bag.
