These PFDs are built to withstand long-term use and exposure. Each jacket has features that allow trained users to utilize the major advances occurring in river rescue and increase the margin of safety for you, your team and the victim. Standard pricing includes custom fitting for individual team members. We send you sample sizes that can be tested and worn over the thermal protection and turn out gear you require. We can tailor the cut for a proper fit.
Additional floatation panels can be added. These, for example, increase the rating on a medium size PFD from 25 lb. to 30 lb. without greatly increasing the bulk of the jacket. This is important in large volume or aerated water, as well as for those supporting the additional weight of enforcement duty belts and other equipment.
